Boltman
Boltman (Kindle Edition)
By Eric Quinn Knowles

Review & Description

Most people are good at something. Kevin tried dressing well, making friends (he has one), dancing, talking to girls… At least Kevin can say he is a successful fan. For Kevin, Boltman is a true obsession. He even believes the internet rumors that the iconic comic book character is based on a real superhero that appeared briefly in Chicago in the nineteen-thirties. But that was just fantasy, an altruistic escape until one morning Kevin wakes from his dark, depressing existence with the awareness that he is chosen to bring Boltman back to the world—the real world. All Kevin has to do is unlock the secrets of Botlman’s super powers; to do that, he needs to free Boltman’s sidekick, Ampere, from the clutches of Tommie Boy and his evil Church of the Mind; a Hollywood cult of celebrity energy vampires.
The best part: when Kevin wears his costume he becomes someone else. He becomes Boltman, but Boltman seems to have a mind of its own. On the path to fulfill his destiny, Kevin begins to wonder if he is really just losing his mind, or if Boltman is a separate entity entirely, bent on using Kevin for its own mysterious ends.
